Flexible for Life: Moving Freely and Safely with Osteoporosis Strength

Flexible for Life: Moving Freely and Safely with Osteoporosis

Strengthening exercise is essential for your bones. Staying flexible and being able to move well is important, too.

In this one-hour class, physical therapist Dr. Justine Bernard will guide you through safe, flowing movements drawn from GYROKINESIS®, adapted specifically for osteoporosis. Combining breath, gentle spinal movement, and whole-body coordination, you'll improve flexibility, balance, and ease of movement.

The class moves from seated to the floor to standing, with a seated option throughout if the floor isn't for you, so you can take part wherever you're starting from. You'll finish feeling more open, energized, and confident in the way your body moves.

All levels welcome.

What you'll need: A sturdy chair and an exercise mat.
