Flexible for Life: Moving Freely and Safely with Osteoporosis On Demand Class
Strengthening exercise is essential for your bones. Staying flexible and moving well is important, too.
In this one-hour class, physical therapist Dr. Justine Bernard will guide you through safe, flowing movements drawn from GYROKINESIS®, adapted specifically for osteoporosis. Combining breath, gentle spinal movement, and whole-body coordination, you'll improve flexibility, balance, and ease of movement.
The class moves from seated to the floor to standing, with a seated option throughout if the floor isn't for you, so you can participate at a level that works for you. You'll finish feeling more open, energized, and confident in the way your body moves.
All levels welcome.
What you'll need: A stool or sturdy chair without arms preferrably and an exercise mat.
